Shaun began his career as a mechanical engineer both in the private sector and under contracts with the US Navy. Frustrated with the pace of innovation, he used Kickstarter campaigns as the starting point for Zealot Interactive. Fret Zealot quickly became the winning product and brand to focus on. Specialties include international logistics, corporate finances and contracting, and of course, a heavy influence on quality manufacturing.
CTO
A lifelong entrepreneur and maker, John was Director of Engineering for the Tolly Group, a leader in cloud and virtualization benchmarking, before a stint at a cloud gaming company. His role at Zealot Interactive has him managing software and hardware teams on three continents along with making the critical data support system decisions to ensure our customers get the most value out of their state-of-the art educational systems.
Product
Alex is obsessed with helping early stage startups get to product-market fit and helping young entrepreneurs find their confidence to take the plunge. Trained as a biomedical engineer, he’s founded startups in biotech, media, mobile gaming, and social networking, one which which was funded by YC. He has also designed and directed a new kind of relationship-based programming at the University of Virginia where he coached hundreds of student entrepreneurs and quadrupled the number of graduating students with viable high-growth startups.
VP of Partnership Development
Bob began his Washington, D.C. career in politics and fundraising before moving into entrepreneurship. He joined Network Solutions to direct their incubator prior to the $21B sale to Verisign where he became their Entrepreneur in Residence. Since then, he has been an advisor to a series of DC area early stage ventures helping them raise Seed and A Rounds. He then boosts their revenues by developing marketing partnerships with Fortune 500 enterprises.
