Return and Refund Policy

 

Physical Products

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of you receiving your order as shown on your shipment tracking information. You can return your product for a different product or a refund of the product cost to the original payment method.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

  • Returned items must be returned in original packaging
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
  • Fret Zealot LED systems must be returned uninstalled unless part of a combo pack where they were pre-installed on an instrument

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

  1. Contact us or simply respond to any order confirmation email you received and you will be directed to our customer service team
  2. List the products you wish to return or exchange from your order
  3. After speaking with our team, please send the products to the following address for processing:

Additional Information:

  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Your refund or replacement product will be processed within 2 business days of receiving your return.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
  • Shipping fees are not included in a return for refund unless there is an issue covered by warranty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
  • Lost items must be located by the shipping carrier or reimbursed by the shipping carrier. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  • Items damaged in shipping will be analyzed by our team to determine the cause and fault

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Digital products and services (e.g. “Fret Zealot All Access Pass” subscription)
  • Software
  • Downloads
  • Gift cards

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • An item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected].

Sale items (if applicable)

  • Sale items are still refundable unless the product listing explicitly states that they are non-returnable or non-refundable.

Exchanges (if applicable)

If you need to exchange your product for a different size or version, please send us an email at [email protected] so to investigate available options.
